Are u really serious... i do not understand how someone who obviously likes and most probably plays acoustic guitar can say that. I mean this is a dmb tab site. Although the capo thing is kinda overdone, and not too technical, Trace Bundy is a very good player. That style changes the whole way one approaches the acoustic guitar. He is definatley not the first nor the best at that style, but still excellent since it can be very difficult to master and melodize. He does have good songwriting ability, and is definatley talented.

But you can have your opinion, its all good.

its better than you.

and this is already in "Various acoustic videos", but thanbks for the post anyways
LOL!

With a little practice you might be able to veil your sarcasm a bit better.

And seriously, if I think this is silly who are you to say I am wrong. You may disagree, but ... yeah?

I listened to this cat's other material including watching his music video with full band and it was pretty good, not my thing so much but if it makes you feel better this guy is much better guitar player than me. :)

do you have a reason? or are you just jealous because hes better than you?
For the record, I think it's very interesting how you try to 'dis this guy by saying he's not as good/and jealous of this this Trace dude.

In my experience people that accuse others of being jealous are usually jealous themselves. Although this may not be the case here, what's the point of trying to put this guy down? Someone posted this clip (again btw) and I think it's assumed on a forum that people will post what they think about it.

Not trying to pick a fight, but personally I take no shame in admitted I have much to learn in all things, including, but not limited to the guitar.

well this is another case of not being able to demonstrate the tone...i wasnt tryin to put him down at all, i was honestly asking why he didnt like it. and the second part was kiddin too, a little nudge would be appropriate if i were next to him. i wasnt trying to put him down at all, but i can see why it could come off that way, cuz its hard to demonstrate tone in a message board

but they arent redundant because once hes taken the three off, the last one left becomes in use...so they really arent redundant the whole time
I guess you're right, but he clearly constructed the song so that it would be impressive to watch, which is what I was trying to get at.

No love for Trace here. I bought Adapt, and listen to the cd all the time, and watch the dvd over and over, mesmerized each time. And so what if he shows off, i'll bet every last person on here has played guitar for someone else to show off at some point in their life. Not to mention if i was a dorky as Trace (yes, i will rip on him here) then i would show off on guitar as much as possible, cause without guitar, he might die a virgin.

i just got his dvd, which is fuckin awesome, but i was wondering about his sexuality. He seems that he might be gay, just based on the way he talks and his voice. This is just based on the little things he says between songs, but it definatley appeared that he might be. If he is not, im not trying to offend him at all. I love his music, and will continue for years.

a) because 417roylat is lonely and wants to know if he has a chance with Trace
b) he might be offended because 417roylat is a douchnozzle?

It doesnt matter, but i was just asking a fucking question. I think he is a phenomenal guitarist and have tons of respect for the man. I was just curious if he was gay or not, since me, and everyother person that has seen the dvd, asked the same question w/in a min of hearing him talk.

Secondly, its pretty sad that there are some pretty immature muppets that float around this dave site, who first flame me for asking if he was gay, then proceed to write untrue statements about my sexuality. I mean, how can you flame me for asking a question about Trace, then finish your post by bashing me and saying something that is extremley offensive, and fuckin immature. FATJACK, who the fuck do you think you are. Oh wait, i know, just another child who cannot have a mature converstation. Probably one of those kids who still look in anatomy books and giggle at the drawings of the female body. This is just an assumption. You made one about me. My opinion of you - an idiotic, immature, secondgrader, who basically needs to drop of the face of the planet.

I wasnt trying to start a war, nor do i really care if trace is gay or not. After watching his dvd, it seemed like he might be. I was just curious, since life experiences, and preferences are major points for songwriters. Rufus Rainwright happens to be on of my fave songwriters. He is gay, and thus, some of his lyrics and songs deal with views and perspectives a gay man may have in this world. Dave losing his sis, also is something that molded daves ideas, perceptions, and his overall character as a person- that too is another direct influence on personal life and experiences that songwriters use for inspiration. Another example, Elliot Smith was very depressed and drug addicted. His songs were mostly very meloncholy. Had he not been a depressed drug addict, he may not have been as good a songwriter.

This is why i was asking the question about Trace. It doesnt matter at all. I will always support him and listen to his music. Sexuality does have an effect on ones perceptions and thus, ones songwriting.

Fuck off and die Fatjack.

Tim

PS--"douchnozzle"----WOW, very creative, that is, WOW, man you are something special. I mean, that is pretty impressive, Good one man. You are so cool.. bitch
