stiffness

anyone ever notice stiffness in the strumming arm? like from wrist to upper forearm? what do you do about it?

and you always seem to have some kind of physical problem when it comes to guitar...

1) Hold out your arm straight.
2) Bend the wrist as far back as you can, so your fingers are straight up in the air.
3) With the other hand, take two fingers at a time and stretch them back. Go through all your fingers.

It'll definitely help.

Occassionally, if I practice with bad form, i.e. in a chair with arms, or in my bed. (Technically this shouldn't even be CALLED practice!)

Take a break (as said before) and attention to proper form are key.
