i was born a jew but i would consider myself to be agnostic althought when people ask im jewish because most people dont understand what agnostic is. and as far as political status goes i am a democrat although i do not agree with many of the tactics that the party has been using lately which has lead to a minor downfall, I like what they stand for politcally so i stand with them

im also agnostic, and around here that means atheist, because if you are fanatically christian your going to hell because everyone is better than you. so i just say christian, and im a flaming liberal, same with that, but ill fight it.

I answered and I dont care where this thread should be. But, since some people think they are moderators and like to tell people where to post their threads I will comment.

Question posed:

Just curious as to the type of people listen to DMB.

Since this is the General DMB Discussion forum, he posted his thread in the right place.

I can only assume that most DMB listeners are liberal in their life's philosophy. I say that because Dave's lyrics often reflect what liberals hope for.

I figured nDMB would be the most appropriate place. I mean, anyone who posts there is a DMB fan so I think it would be better suited for this type of question.

I think Dave's lyrics reflect what most people in the world hope for, Liberals and Conservatives just seem to often disagree on how to get there.

I think Dave's lyrics reflect what most people in the world hope for, Liberals and Conservatives just seem to often disagree on how to get there.

I knew I shouldn't have written that because it's my own speculation and I knew I would get some gripes.

It's hard for me to articulate what I mean so I just wrote that.

Look at his question. He is trying to get a glimpse of DMB fans personal beliefs. Oh well, IM sure Brock will make that descion.

And he is not profiling people. That would be something completely different, such as somebody assuming you are a liberal becasue you like DMB. In this case he is doing the opposite. He is asking, rather than labeling.

Hmmm, so you don't think everyone in nDMB is a DMB fan? To me it seems black and white but to each his own.

I do agree with the bottom half of your post though. I don't see how he is profiling anyone. Maybe he's asking for a project/paper/etc...
