The Last Stop

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

The Last Stop

Post by gitarCASE »

There are a few questions i have about the last stop. On the intro first of all, whats the rythem for that. Most of the versions I've heard don't have the intro on it. Also in the beginning is Dave just singing no words just making sounds to go along with the beginning chords. ALso there are two instances in which im just lost, both occur after he sings...

"You're righteous, so righteous, so righteous.....
[Here] But why your lie [Here] <---WHat is played, just the Em chord during this?

also on

"You're righteous, so righteous, so righteous.....
[Here] But there you are nailing a good tree
Then say forgive me, forgive me
Why [Here] <--------------Same Em chord as "Your so righteous"

Any help would be great thanks, I think i found our last jam song by the way. American baby, Lie in our graves, and the last stop. Sounds good, what do you think alan?
"This is the last stop..."

I don't play it like it's tabbed here. First off because I don't want to go through the trouble of tuning down a half step just so I can play the outro in the same key. Second, fuller chord voicings work better if you're just playing solo.

That said the E is major not minor. That transition is nothing more than going from E to F#. Listen for the changes, it's pretty straightforward.
