Big Eyed Fish

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I listen to the the song on busted stuff and then i look back at the tab on the site and i dont think they match (just the intro). i think the bef tab is incorrect. (intro only) maybe its just me, but i was wondering if some one could make a quick cover of the intro. thanks

I'm not sure if this is the thing you're talking about, but you might be hearing the boyd part. daves guitar part is under everything. the main thing you hear in the intro is boyd plucking at his violin. i think...

I know it's not right, but I play it liek this and I like the sound.

Code:

Intro
E:----------------------------------------------------------
B:----------------------------------------------------------
G:---------------------------------------------------------
D:------9----------7-----7----------5-----5------4/-------
A:--7----------5---------5------2---------2------2/-------
E:--0------------------------------------------------------

Try that and let me know what you think.

The Jkanter tabs shows the 57 and 25 parts as played like chords, when the notes are played seperately
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I don't agree with that. I think Dave plays them as chords. Maybe because he plays this song on a twelve string people are getting confused by what they hear?

Watching Folsom Field right now... Looks like he is hitting those individual notes and then strumming like 1eyed_jack pointed out..

Here, I hope this helps...

I did two of the verse/intro - one with picking individual notes and one strumming to make all happy!

Then went into the chorus, then one verse to end. Hope this helps...Sorry about the rushed and bad recording...
