And I don't think that Lillywhite is pissed, he probably wishes the band all the best and he probably likes hearing them produced in a different way than he would have done.

I don't think so, it was not a very civil parting of the ways. Somebody tried to ask Lillywhite a question about the band a little while ago and he responded by saying he doesn't discuss matters about the Dave Matthews Band anymore.

Whoever said that bridge was burned a long time ago was dead on.

Steve Lillywhite will work on without DMB. If he cares in the least about the new DMB album, who knows - I doubt it.

I'd really like to see DMB hire Daniel Lanois. Everything he touches turns to gold.

The record company may believe Glen Ballard has the Midas touch. That's bullshit.

Most importantly I believe that Daniel Lanois has the golden touch as evidenced with his work with Peter Gabriel, U2 and a host of other bands that I enjoy.

that would be an amazing album, is there anything that would really hold them back from making that happen??
