Nitro you solved my problem. Mad props bro, much appreciated.

For those of you who want to avoid this problem:

1) If you have already loaded the CD and installed the "License" follow the above instructions to turn that fucker off, and then:

2) Put the CD in the drive, if autorun is disabled, you are done, if it's not, just wait for the "Launch CD" installation feature to pop up, and then leave it sitting there, don't acknowledge or reject the terms of agreement, and copy the CD in it's entirety. When you are done close this window. NEVER INSTALL THE "LICENSE" IT'S BULLSHIT AND IS COPYPROTECTION.

Hope this helps someone else.
Awesome, glad that did the trick
will that help my problem of it coming up as "audio cd, track 01, 02, etc." ?
no, just get online. or use MusicBrainz Tagger to accurately tag all your mp3s.

Use Freerip (http://www.mp3-converter.com/freerip.htm) if you have troubles. Worked for me.

i wanted to top this cause i just got the foo fighters cd today and it has the same crap on it. i think that site that nitro put up should be stickied somewhere. it's not like all of us want to go out and give away music. i just wanted to put the songs on my ipod ya know? it's bullcrap that they make it so damn difficult.

EDIT: i had no problems w/ SU either. so i didn't even look at this stuff. but here i am having problems w/ a different cd. one time, one cd will probably screw you up. the website that nitro gave is crucial. top kudos to you nitro

Their last paragraph is 100% incorrect, however - Microsoft will not license protected WMA to Apple (not that they would add it if it was offered, but still). It's not an Apple issue.
