This argument would go back & forth for hours.. so I'm just gonna back down on the simple fact that mp3 trading is just a form of control, and got most people by the balls..

Not really. There's no argument. Copyright infringement is illegal, no matter whether you think it should be or not, and it isn't allowed on this website, period, for both our sake and yours. We would be required by law to turn over our server logs if we were to be subpoena'd, and anyone posting copyrighted material would be dead in the water.

That's a very easy thing to say when you aren't the one that would face legal issues should we allow people to completely ignore the law.

How does this guy not see what's wrong with his request.

Real simple. You are asking for sombody to to host a link to copyrighted music. Therefore, whoever is hosting it or associated with hosting it, will be prosecuted.

Damn, haven't you heard of Kazaa being shut down? Do you know what for? Sharing illegal music. Exactly what you are requesting.
