im pretty dissapointed so far from what ive heard, his songwriting is getting too sappy. Although the electric gravedigger did kick ass.

I agree. I've always liked gravedigger, and the SD version kicks it up a notch.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

You all are the first people I've heard say anything good about gravedigger.

Gravedigger is good, acoustic version is better.

So Damn Lucky would probably be my favorite though. I cannot stand save me though.. that song sucks..too jazzy for me

Dave really hasn't had that many macabre songs, gravedigger is one of the few good ones. so damn lucky rules.

Actually, if you'll permit me to be a bit pedantic, I think the acoustic+strings arrangement fits the lyrics substantially better; however, I much prefer the emotion and drive of the lyrics in the electric version.

Pedantic??? Uh oh, someones in law school! ;) That had to be worth at least $1.75. But I agree with your point about gravedigger...

yep. i don't think the gravedigger video itself would have been as powerful if it had been the "acoustic+strings" version.

stephen harris should be shot for letting the production go through like this...terrible, absolutely terrible production. I can't say it enough...terrible...terrible...terrible...what an absolutely awful producer. I know stay or leave isn't a bad song, but ugh...it's a terrible studio track from what I've heard thusfar...this guy is not at all what DMB or Dave needs...
