Guitar muscle?

I've noticed that when i pinch the skin inbetween my thumb and forefinger on my right hand there is just skin... but my left has a muscle... i think its from playing on my 12er... anybody else notice this?

i have a muscle right there on both hands. not to be a dick cause im kinda curious about this (curious about this 'guitar muscle') but, do you lift weights praisedave?

right in between my thumb and first finger I have huge muscles. I can kind of squeeze my thumb with my fingers on either hand to flex these muscles. They are neat to show to people, some are quite amazed.

Yeah I know what you mean, the fretting hand fingertips have less give then on the strumming hand. But that it mostly due to callouses. I have no finger prints on the tips of all fingers except the thumb on my fretting hand, and almost no feeling in those areas as well.

yeah i think mine are just from lifting then cause i have them on both hands and I haven't really noticed a different since I started playing
