Jazzfest?

did anyone go? I was there, about fifty feet from the stage. it was my first dave show, absolutely incredible. he was so blazed it wasnt funny. yeah it was funny, actually. i will post pics as soon as i get them if yall would like.

I was at jazzfest too! They didn't have the special guests or play nearly as long a set as they did at 2001 but man they rocked just as hard. I've been resisting listening to the new album over on VH1 but if they way the played American Baby, Lousiana Bayou, and Stand Up is any indication of what we'll get next Tuesday then we're in for a REAL treat. I still can't stop listening to that live mp3 of Lousiana Bayou floating around - AWESOME. Jazzfest is 2 for 2 with me and I plan on going back!

Oh yes, AND we also met Dave and Leroi by PURE CHANCE as we were strollin' around the rear of the Acura Stage looking for a bathroom. I got some pictures if anyone would like to see. Those are some classy guys right there.

Dude, that's awesome! Glad to hear you had fun at the jazzfest and you met those guys. I think it's rather funny you mentioned that in the later part of your post. Me being a nerd probably would have started a new thread about that topic

Thanks for the comments - it was quite an experience. If you ever happen to be at jazzfest on the DMB day, be sure to chill on the race track behind the acura stage. I guess those were the tour buses! My friend said he saw ashley and the twins come out....I was too busy waiting in line for the go-can.

I have some more concerts pics I'll put up when I get home. We weren't too far back but the thing about jazzfest concerts is that there are flags EVERYWHERE in the crowd so it obscures some of the shots. Some of them turned out pretty decent though.
