it's the gauge. higher gauge=more tension. lower gauge=lower tension.

elixir is good for low gauge. i dont know why you'd want the lows thoy

ohh i know those...thats what i was thinking when he said that but i didnt think that could be right becuase a) i thot hed say gauge and b) i figured he knows a good deal about that...i wasnt sure if there was some secret variable of strings that id never heard of
