did ya'll find it hard to find time to play guitar amongst the whole move in day, freshman orientation experience?

haha, worried about squeezing in guitar time on the day you move in. you got more important stuff to worry about, youll find time for guitar whenever you want. youre in college now, worry about meeting new friends, find someone whos 21, can drive and lives off campus, etc... just have fun, guitar will make room for itself

i think i took like.... 2 days off from guitar when i first went to school. it was pretty much a record.

then i went outside and played in the quad i think. met some people that way

oh i do have a case with locks on it and keys of which i will store in a special place...maybe even chain that shit to my bed.

seriously...when i had the guitar in the dorms before i moved off campus i just had it like sitting in the corner or on my bed all the time...everyone who came in decided they wanted to touch it and strum the shit out of it..its funny but my guitar is a POS anyways...

Just make a big deal about nobody touching it and leave it in the case, and you'll be fine.

do you really have a problem with people coming into your room and using your guitar without your knowledge?

my main axe sits on a stand in the middle of my room and it's become my roommate's main axe too but he's more careful with guitars than i am

You arent going to leave your guitar at home
You have a hard case with a lock for it
you'll have a lock on your door as well
you dont have to give anyone permission to unlock your door, unlock your guitar case, and then play your guitar.

If you are still worried then leave the POS at home.
