I'm hopeful that the wisdom and the talent and the experience of the band will not let crap punctuate the album.

It sounded like Boyd didn't even know what was on the album when he said, "i believe stefan played electric guitar and i believe dave played piano." Was he not there? Do they not let him in on what's going on anymore? Maybe he is the one that leaks the albums!

Boyd was just being coy, he doesn't want to give out too much information. He has a smirk on his face when he is saying those things as well.

I think it's very important not to have too much preconcieved notions about what this album will sound like. Sure, they're trying something different but at least it's not Glenn Ballard at the helm. That Batson guy seems like he honestly cares that EVERYBODY has input and something to add to it and not just tell everyone what to play. If it sounds totally different I can adjust. I'm just waiting for the thread that's going to pop up and consist of non-stop bitching about how the album sucks

Of course it's not good to just assume that it'll be great just because it's DMB. I have opinions too, but some of the DMB fans have the strongest and oftentimes negative reaction to whatever new stuff they do. Oh well.

I hated the album Everyday, well not hate but it's my least favorite DMB album. This one is going to sound a lot like it I believe. I still can't understand why 'good good time' was left off the tracklist?

after listening to the previews, it sounds a lot more like Some Devil than Everyday.
