Haha that reminded me of another big urban legend that was going around my middle school when Crash came out that Dave had AIDS.

I remember htis one. It was going around on one of the other boards (nancies I think). It was when people kept making up those fake cnn pages, but someone wrote up a really believable one about him getting in a car accident.

Yeah, I heard this one a couple of years ago but it was from an unreliable source so I didn't believe it.

Its not about dave but i found a website about tom petty that was saying he had been in a coma and then died in like 1998 and that they were using a double for all their live performances :lol:

There was a rumour going around in the 60's that Paul McCartney was dead. It started after they stopped playing live shows, and only played in the studio. If you look at the cover of Abbey Road, he's the only one who's barefoot and some people took this as a "sign".
