I have one of those Fishman pickups that just fits in the sound hole. The sound really isnt that bad, and with the turn of two screws you can have it off. I would recommend it, its not very pricey.

They sit under the bridge or saddle (the white thing at the bottom), and they are easy to take out, but you have to break the circuit that is soldered when the pickup is installed. Also, you will need a larger than normal strap button to go into the hole that the endpin jack leaves (it is around 1/2 inch).

I called Fishman about them, and the main tech guy said that a one time move is ok, but the piezo material gets unstable if you continually move the system.

I haven't heard much about them on these boards but in my opinion b-band pickups are unbelievable. Larrivee guitars uses them on some of their premier models >$3000.

For 70,00$ CAD I could sell my Fishman NEO-D to you.

If interested... tell me.

Ok, I'd go for either Fishman Rare Earth soundhole, a Fishman Acoustic Matrix Natural under sadle, or an LR Baggs soundhole (I havn't played any LR Baggs under the sadle, so I have no opinions on them).
Yes, I am in a box
