any chance we can get an everyday video up? i got the first part of the fingerpicking, but i cant get the second part down. i just need to see it

ha! I thought you were talking about the Everyday music video! Has anyone seen that? This guy with a mullet walks around town and just gives people hugs. Then you see him go to where the band is jamming out the song and gives THEM hugs too. I would do that, but 1) People would either call me names like "fag" or "gay", and girls would just slap me in the face. and 2) I don't know where the DMB jams out Everyday

Dude, "everyday" has a bad ass video. Its positive. If everyone were peaceful enough to feel comfortable to just hug somebody they didn't know. Its a positive idea, its funny to me that it is so strange to other people(defenitly not ment to dis anyone).*stoned*

heh. i actually did it for Valentine's day two years ago, it hink. saw the everyday video that morning, cut up a cardboard box and made a sign that said "Happy Heart-Day! Free hugs!" and went around asking people for hugs.

weird enough, i got a few hugs from guys, but of course, i got called "gay" but the hugs from tons of women made up for it.

i went up to a few jocks and ran away really fast...

really though, it was great to spread the love. i think it was the year sept. 11th happened, and it felt good to make people smile. guys were laughing at me, but they just didn't have the balls to do it.

too much shit in the world today...

That's sweet isaac. I don't think any of the hugs in the Everyday video were planned. I think it was all real.

Come to think of it.. that was the video/song that got me hooked on DMB. It's been a landslide since then ;)

i personally like the cameo by the Blue Man Group in that video.. hey ya never konw, maybe that is where they met first, and the "sing along" bloomed from there...

do you see them in the everyday video? if so where...i have it adn can't spot them.

no, it was definitly planned. i mean you don't have camera's in all the exact spots to follow the guy including his bedroom waking up(i think that was in there haven't watched it in a while) and also there is security that would not have let they guy get to the band.

i dont think thats what he meant... yes the filming of the guy who was hugging was planned... but when they got out on the streets, i don't think they had planned who exactly he was going to hug or if they stopped people on the street and said "hey mind if this guy hugs you?"

and that guy is probably a friend of the band too... i actually saw that guy do stand-up on premium blend one time...

yeah. the reactions seemed pretty real to me. same as the reactions that i got, at least...

though the guy going into a school was probably planned, etc.
