Everyone, I need your help
I'm a DMB fan, I play a lot of songs... but you know... I don't know which tunes I should add in my list... Here's the deal : I've got a group, 4 members (bass, drums, guitar + vocal, backvocals + Djimbe) No violin and no sax too... Which playable tunes (for my group) could I add to this list?
I did it...
Everyday (#36)
Grey Street
Ants Marching
Satellite
WWYS
Stay (wastin' time)
Jimi Thing + What will become of me
Typical situation
JTR
#41
Dancing nancies
Warehouse
Two step
Crush
So much to say
Crash into me
Too much
So damn lucky
Bartender
Tripping billies
Angel
The space between
Lover lay down
I just added Granny and The song that Jane likes to the list...
I need more songs... which ones should I play?
Please help, cause I don't know all of the Dave's tunes... I need 3½ hours of show... I got 2½ with those 26 tunes + drum solo + Stream...
Thanks
James

I think anything can be arranged and edited to fit that instrumentation.
But I do agree that you need to play some NON Dave. Even if you guys only wanna perform DMB, for group cohesion and to learn each other's styles, you should play some other music, imho.

Why do you tell me to play some other music?
Me and my friends just love to play Dave Matthews... We don't want to play some Elvis or CCR shits... I just want to know wich tunes I should play... don't tell me to play GooGoo Dolls, I play DMB with this band...
I hope it's clear now... apparently you've never got "good cohesion" in your groups... we do, and it's by playing DMB that we have fun...

Were you just waiting for someone to tell you a Dave song to play? Any song and youd play it? Thats what it seems like, if youve picked out as many songs as you already have then Im sure you can come up with a few more, just take any of the ones you know and go for it, you didnt really need a suggestion. (aside from suggesting you diversify the playlist but you obviously dont wanna go that route)JamesMatthews wrote:Thanks a lot Bassman You finally helped me
Thnx.
