newbie and ? about dmb concerts and sets

Post by musicalman865 »

excuse me for being lazy esp in this time were all anxious on hearing dmbs new album. being just a young teen and new to this site, honestly i havnt seen dave live yet, since i am a student guitar player and piano, i do know a lot about their music esp in theory and things cuz i own some of the guitar books and not to mention seeing a lot of the dvds and downloads i love this site because its so accurate, and proudly own all of their albums including live and the concert dvds, because live is just great no doubt dmb a live band. lol sorry for tellin u all that, but im just wonderin since im probly goin to see dmb for the first time this summer (sarotoga performing arts center) since i live in rome ny ya know where the crazy woodstock 99 was happenin and dave was here and so many others, but i was only 8 then damnit and didnt know much about em or anything lol so i didnt go damnit again. i just want someone to tell me what are a lot of songs that are very common in their usual set, and whats not.
also is "pay for what you get" still common in their set? that is a kick ass song i have to hear it.

thanks peace sorry for that long shit lol

It kind of changes from tour to tour, but you can take a look at last year's tour's song popularity here:

PFWYG isn't very common anymore, unfortunately.

Like losing your virginity, getting drunk for the first time or getting your driver's license, going to your first live DMB is a right of passage and you'll remember it for a long time.

That really really sucks.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
