Apparently Dave has a Taylor T5

Ok, it can't be promotional. If it was, it would be just dave. We can OBVIOUSLY see that Carter is there, why else would there be cymbols peaking out? Also, who cares if he wears it low, maybe he is finding it more comfortable. I used to wear my guitars way up high, then I wore them down low, punk style, then I wore like Dave (which is right now). I might switch my strap length again.

So it's not promotional, it's with the band, or at least Carter, so my guess is that it's a shot from the video. Then, also I am sure he wouldn't just have it for the video. The only 2 times he didn't use his own guitar in the video was when he did Crush. The only reason why they got Dave a Byrdland was for the mood, for a more classy jazz club mood. Then it was the Space Between because he wouldn't want to hurt his own guitar (that guitar was given away in a contest). Then, in my mind, there would be no reason for dave to just play with it in the video. I am sure it's his. it makes perfect sense. Maybe he didn't want to fly it over the austrlia, so he doesn't lose it or hurt it, because it's not even on the market yet and he couldn't replace it, while his other taylors are still made.

So, I stand by saying it's Dave's guitar, and he will be playing with on tour.

yeah exactly, its not official yet but everyone is saying it is from the American Baby video
