AMERICAN BABY TAB: it's tricky

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Boyd's violin for guitar

Post by joel »

e------------7---7-----10---10-9-7--------
B-------10-----------------------------10--
G--7-7----7---7---7------------------------
D--------------------------------------------
A--------------------------------------------
E--------------------------------------------

This is kinda tricky because the riff isn't on the beat so be careful of the timing in which you do the riff. I tried to structure the intervals between notes as best i could. To me it seems like it is ending early and if that's how you feel aswell then you're playing it right...you should almost feel as if you're rushing to get the next note on the scale down. Hope you enjoy it.

DMBtabs.com, welcome to it.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Which part? It doesn't really translate well acoustically.
