Dave on piano and drums

ok, now when the hell did dave ever learn to play piano and drums? After knowing about Busted Stuff and the new album, wtf did he learn them?

One of the songs starts out with dave singing/playing piano, and is later joined by the rest of the band. So yes, he does play piano...

But drums?? Maybe he plays bongos or something african...but probably not a set.

No, I was pointing out that he contradicted himself in the same sentence. I know Dave plays piano. The VH1 thingy said him and his siter used to play all hte time as kids. Besides, a lot of popular musicians that write decent music are play numerous instruments.

Thanks, that clears it up. I also believe in one of the reviews, it said dave was playing drums as well on a song.

In a guitar mag interview many years ago I believe Dave said he writes a lot on piano and then transposes it to guitar. I think he even said that Crash started on piano.

He joked about having his guitar strapped up so high, "up by his nipples" He said that one day he may just play piano and not guitar, but he would first have to figure out how to get a piano up there by his nipples.
