Daves way of stringing guitar

Well, it's actually a cordless screwdriver that you use it with, but I don't think it could screw the guitar up, since it's mainly for loosening and tightening the strings, which are a pain to do with fingers.

I just think it's too much trouble to get the cordless screwdriver/drill out each time I want to change strings, when by the time I get it, I could be using my hand string winder and be halfway done.

Why would you need a screw driver? It takes only up to a minute (at most) if not 15 seconds with just the winder.

Also, the winder/clipper combination does save time.

Exactly my point. The only way I could warrant using that thing is if I was changing strings on all my guitars at once, then it might come in handy, and be worth the trouble of digging out my cordless screwdriver. Or if you worked in a guitar shop with 100+ guitars and were changing strings on a bunch of them.

But if I'm just changing strings on one guitar before a gig or something, it takes me like 5 minutes to do it with the hand string winder and a pair of clippers.

When anyone changes there strings, do you usually cut the tail of the stings off or loop them into some kind neat configuration. I like to loop them, i think it looks kewl...Tree.

i remember reading an ad in a mag about somthing that winds, cuts, and tunes the strings ...but i forgot was it was called... anyone know what it is and if they are any good?
