I Went to a CSNY concert with my mom once, it was ok cause I really like their music, but it would have been alot better without her. I dont like her seeing me in phyco mode, I couldnt really let loose. .. And i couldnt get high, lol

Thats' cool. My mom is in her mid 50's & likes Dave. She always is on the lookout for Dave memorabilia & ticket deals. She might go this year because in my hometown of PA he is making his first EVER appearance. I might go up & take them all but I have to be at the VA BEach show the next day which is 7 hours away.

Dude, getting fucked up before a concert sucks. I got high at the NERD concert (flame away, but I like them) and I couldn't enjoy it cuz I was too busy staring at the lights and shit.

I don't know about you all but I'm one of the people getting tanked at DMB shows. It's a great way to enjoy the show. You party in the fields all day and then get to see a great concert at night.

I've said this before, and I'll say it again

My MOM got me into DMB. She bought UTTAD and forced me to listen to it then. She sometimes wants me to play certain dmb songs to her sometimes. She has been to 3 concerts with me! She's short, so she stands in the chair. The other thing is she knows the lyrics, and sings along with me. My mom stays up to date on music. She loves Jack Johnson, David Gray, even Green Day!

I go to Alpine Valley with my mom, and we have a great time. The first time I went at all, it was me, my brother, my aunt, and my mom. We had big blankets, spreaded them out on the lawn, and had a great time.

So, in conclusion, my mom is KEWL. lol

I might just go again with my mom this year

yeah, those are the people who run into me, scream in my ear, spill beer on me, cause havock in the parking lot later with smashing bottles and buring trash cans, and just pissing me off. No offense, but I hate being around drugged up people when I am at a show. It ruins it for me!

I would say less of stoners, but more of drunken people. Come to an alpine valley show. The parking lot is just 3 HUGE feilds. They have trash cans there, and there are always a few on fire after the show. You have to watch where you drive, because of all the tons of bottoles that are broken on the ground. At one point there was a fight I saw, and he knocked a guy unconcious, and left him. I also hate it when I am right in front of Tenny Boppers, and they scream into my ear as loud as possible.

I wish I could just stand offstage and listen, then hang out with them by the fridge later, lol
