is it the speed? I have a 92 two step and I find nothing speacial.

I think a lot of what makes the sound on that video so unique is the guitar. That country jumbo tuned down a half-step sounds like a beast. Almost as bassy as playing a D35.

that explains the sound, but has nothing to do with why the strumming is "impossible"

i just mean it sounds like something you could never do, but its mostly just because of the way the guitar sounds. Slap mutes are very much louder and deeper on that video than I could ever make them sound. The rhythm isnt really much different.

It just sounds dope. Who cares if you can't pull the stumming, keep at it and one day you will.
