This is a bluesy rock experiment of mine
I added the lead guitar to my old mix. Levels still needed adjusted, but I think this is a pretty decent basis.
EDIT: Link would be useful
http://www.soundclick.com/bands/0/jcreedmusic.htm
Click on the first Tall listed. That one is the
rough mix with a lead guitar . The other Tall recording is a totally different dynamic as it's just me with an acoustic guitar.
Thanks

sounds very funky. I like the vibe of the song. a certain part reminds me of the WWYS jam, maybe i'm wrong though, dunno.
overall good job.

Thanks
As for my voice, according to my friend it's John Mayer meets Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson puts his 2 cents in
Lol, he seriously thinks at different times I sound like all 3 of them which is real cool, or slightly bizarre

You shouldn't have to sign up
Glad you did though anyways, you can vote for me
heh heh
I guess the main thing about the full version of "Tall" is I approached the vocals a little bit backed off compared to my crazy strumming acoustic version vocals
I hope the decision worked out well, I've just been doing my best of not crossing the "busy" line with this song. I had like an additional couple minutes of bluesy solo's/riffs throughout the song but it would have been distracting imo. The feedback about the overal vibe has been good though so I'm pretty sure everything is there, now it's just a matter of how well the mixing goes.

Thanks, I'm gonna be in England the next week and a half or so, when I get back I'll try to get everything finished up. I'm looking at having EVERYTHING done by April. Hopefully the art work, cd duplication, packaging, and whatever else will be finished as well around that time.
