Seriously, I would love to be able to play like that. I'm constantly trying to get into straight ahead jazz because I know there's a lot to learn from it but from a pure listeners perspective Gypsy Jazz is just so much more compelling and fun. Granted I'm no expert on Jazz but the Django stuff is so much more listenable imo.

I dont like the comments made on trace bundy. Playing and talents are something, but trace got the originality to compose great and enjoyable works. I have no complaint on him. I have no right to say hes inconsistent, amazing as he is.

i wouldn't say he is all that original, his songs seem to follow a certain pattern and structure.

no, wrong. You have every right to say he's inconsistent, it's your opinion
His composition doesn't get me terribly excited, but he's got some astounding technique going. You can see more videos on the front page of his website.
