hey sarah, i live in nj 2 and i happen to know a sarah whos a dmb lover. do you have a twin? (I know it's weird but I don't want to ask you for ur address or last name cuz then it would sound like i'm stalking you. lol)
I can't believe that we would lie in our graves,
dreaming of things we might have been.
acousjim, my sister-in-law teaches singing lessons. she charges $10 for a half hour, and $18 for an hour (what a deal, heh). thats canadian, too. i think prices might hover around there, unless the teacher is some kind of pro or something.
...and we're all thirsty
like drunks on Sunday
brooding like the blades of a fan on low speed
or a writer with only one good line.
I've taken vocal lessons and coaching. They're great for technique but useless to "learn" to sing. Singing is genetic: you either have a good voice, an okay voice, or no voice. My one friend has improved slightly in 3 years, but he still can't sing constantly on pitch. I've been able to sing on pitch, have perfect pitch, and recall pitch. It's just hereditary. Sorry.

I know that I was just trying to play/sing a song not too long ago and for some reason I'd either play it too fast or my singing really sucked. I don't know if many people here would agree with me, but you know you have a song down pat when you don't have to think about what your playing or what your singing. Also to help with your timing get a metronome.

Nope but I have two brothers.
That's pretty cool. Okay how about this...North or South Jersey?
