So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Even though they don't play it much anymore, Dave has said it's one of his most favorite songs to play. I like it.

Whats up with those high harmonics you add when you play the verse the second time? Does dave play those live?
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Hey whats up? I should i have specified that i can already play this song. I just collect live versions of songs just so i can see dave playing them. I completely love watching the "glide" of dave's playing.
Anyway, while i dig your vid pat, i was looking for an actual live d+t vid.
Oh yeah, dave does do the harmonics i believe.

Nice video Pat, it really helps. For me, this tune is not one of my favorites when played by the band, but when played by one or two guitar(s) it is great. I would say the same thing about Minarets and One Sweet World which is fabulous on Dave and Tim Live but in my opinion it is average everywhere else (by average I mean in terms of Dave MAthews tunes and not all music).
I guess that raises the question, what are the DMB songs that are much better when played with one or two guitars as oppossed to the entire DMB?
