Ok, here´s actually my first original thing I post, well its nothing good really, just something recorded so i could get something up, there´s a mistake towards the end cause my roommate brought me the phone and i didnt feel like rerecording it....so here´s all my shit and ink..peace

this is annoying to listen too, more importantly i dont get anysense for the kind of guitar player you are by listening to it.

get rid of the damn effects so it sounds like guitar

Guys come on. It wasn't horrible and he explained that he just wanted to get something up here. Don't hop on the bandwagon here and say it sucked.
Heres how a critique should be for this song:

You distortion/reverb was set too high. Please turn that off and lets hear a clean sounding guitar that we all love so much. The Rythym was good but boring... Kind of the same strumming throughout the song. Mix up the tempo and throw some lyrics in there and you'll be fine.

I don't mean to tell you all how to critique somebody but don't be rude about it.

I think with just a little tremolo effect it would sound better

thanx, for the critique, thats what a like...honesty, actually the song is kinda lame i have to admit, the thing is tho, the only effect i was using was at the beginning, throughout the whole song there were no effects, besides that i put it in a hallway. if i woulda left it the way it was it woulda hurt ur ears even more, i dont know why it sounds like that...

hey but dont go gettin all down on yourself because it isnt what these guys like stick with what you like this is after all a dmb site the people here arent going to like alot of guitar effects stuff but personally i think its pretty cool very unique sound to it

that had no effects through most of it? what are you recording with?

hey ändu

something doesn't work with your recording equipment. It sounds really weird. Make sure you'll get a clean acoustic guitar sound without using any effects or odd sound distorters.
I can't really critique but just because I can't really hear what you were playing.

A crappy pc mic might have done the better job on this... The quality of the sound is really secondary if you want something to be critiqued. Just try to record your stuff clean and it'll be fine to listen to.
