Good things come to an end...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Good things come to an end...

Post by seanbryantkbq »

I need help yall.
i cant listen to any of the bands recordings due to the fact that i dont have a good computer, so i cant be sure, but from the sounds of the posts you put on here, it sounds like the band is falling apart. Everyone in the band (not literally) is doing their own stuff now, and from the sound of it, boyd blows.
So whats happening to the Great 5?
are they going to be another N'Sync?
also, I think if Boyd sucks and they kick him out of the band, and since his c.d supposedly sucks, i think hes gonna kill himself. (Overdramatic, but still...)
Are they going under..?

I wouldn't worry to much about it. I sure hope they don't go under, I have yet to see them (I've got tix for the Sep. 9th show)

I've got to admit, I was having the same worries as you.

But, having just returned from the concert in Selma, I can wholeheartedly say that I do not believe this is happening or is going to happen ANY time soon. Show was absolutely unbelievable, and you could just see how much fun the entire band was having... man it was a great show.

But DMB is probably just burnt out. they've been doing an unbelievable number of shows for over ten years, summer tours, winter tours, spring tours, Charity appearences, not to mention recording in the studio. and D&T shows. Gosh, they probably work something like 350 days a year.

Where is there any evidence of them breaking up? Personally speaking, this is a load of horseshit.. I highly doubt there will be anybody getting "kicked out of the band because they suck." They've been playing together for way too long and are way too good of friends to kick each other out. Face it, they have fun playing music. They are definitely NOT a fucking pop band either. And if this is some ploy to start an argument or a rumour, this is the wrong forum for you.

Peace

can you honestly say that you have no little inkling of doubt in your mind? because if you don't you're just being naive... i don't think anyone will be "kicked out", but the world isn't perfect, and there will be a time when there is no longer a daves matthews band...

furthermore, it's been said in numerous articles that they aren't real buddy-buddy with each other. they get along just well enough to make it work but even dave said in an interview late last year that he doesn't know what's going to happen to the band in the future with the solo stuff going the way it is.

I do agree that there will not always be a Dave Matthews Band, but I was just saying (or meaning) that from my perspective I do not see a reason for them to break up at this moment in time.
