rare dave cd

i was reading in some music magazine about rare cds for sale. they had DMB live in San Francisco 99'. is this just a way to get $ for a cheep bootleg that you can easiliy dl or is it worht the $40 they're asking?

i had a friend once who bought this dave bootleg someone had titled under the rain and dreaming and put it in a real cd case with a book and stuff. it was like 60 bucks but it wasnt even a good recording. i would just download it

That's a bootleg, it is illegal.

Paying for a DMB bootleg is against the band's taping policy.

yeah, all the bootlegs for sale are actually free somewhere. that's how the bootleggers get their copies, they don't go out and record their own stuff. they take DMB tapers' stuff and sell it. you're not missing out at all by not buying them.

if this was a dmb show, you can almost certainly download it for free from antsmarching.org. they have just about every dm(b) performance since 1989.
