What does he mean...?

Post by tbillies86 »

I always try to interpret what songs mean and I've been listening to Pig a lot lately and have been trying to figure out what it means and what made Dave write it. Look forward to here what u guys think...

Each song on BCTS has its own emotion associated with it, and pig's is hope.
The others, well......

PNP- Chill out and light up some chronic
Rapunzel- Sex
The Last Stop- Anti War
DDTW- pro-environment
Stay- Lets go party
Haloween- Rage
Stone- Uneasiness
Crush- love, and for the record, hot, dirty sex
The Dreaming Tree- Loss
Pig- Hope
Spoon- Contemplation
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Im not quite sure that it constitutes leaving.... But, I assure you I was listening to the song Pig well before it was officially released. In fact It was called Don't Burn the Pig, a song of "living in the Moment"

"What if a great wave should wash us all away..."

Don't burn the day away

You have to remember that a lot of traders don't listen to studio albums. I have bought every album released but haven't listened to a studio since Some Devil(once or twice).
