its called rockingchair. my previous statement stands, if you would like to write and record lyrics i would be extremely grateful. this ones probably a bit easier to sing with then seagull. thanks in advance

You do realize how similar this is to your other one right?

They both start softly and at exactly 20 seconds the stumming comes in. The tempo is just a bit slower on rockingchair but listen to these back to back and you'll hear how they only differ ever so slighty.
You gotta pay more attention to song structure. There are a whole bunch of things you can use to switch it up i.e. Time signature, tempo, key changes, rythmic asymmety etc.
Anyway, this is a very slight variation on what you already have. You need to put them together and write a bridge and a chorus and then you'll have one complete song.

This has a solid start, but it kinda goes downhill. I think your problem is that you are trying too hard to create this amazing guitar piece, rather than to just make music. I think the second makes it a little jumbled at times as well. But yeah, focus on the music as a whole rather than trying to create this amazing riff.

I'm not trying to be a dick, if that's what you're thinking. Just giving my two cents. :)

okay, i was definetly questoining adding it, but without it the riff part sounds so empty compared to the strummed part. this just kinda leveled the playing field a bit i thought. ill post it without the 2nd track if you guys would like.
thanks pat!
