Guitar Epiphany

So for the for the last few months I have been learning the major and minor penatonic scales, arpeggios and the full scale with my guitar teacher. Well at yesterdays lesson i mapped out the scales to the F key, so I could solo to the Wilco song "Jesus etc.". Well today Ive been mapping out the scales to Keys and finally understand scales and how to use them to jam and solo. Im so happy, finally i thought id never get it. Anyways I know I still have tons more to learn. But i feel that finally being able to put to use the scales i know is a giant step.

Do you have a decent tab for Jesus etc.? I found one on the net, but I didn't really like it.

It's a minor pentatonic with a diminshed fifth. The sharp fourth is just a flat fifth, same thing. So a minor pentatonic with a flat fifth.

1-b3-4-b4-5-b7-1

The scale in D would be D - F - G - Ab - A - C - D.

Because a D5 is just a D root over an A, the flatted fifth is an A flat that's just added in. Because it's a minor pentatnoic, you play an F, not an F#. Ta-da.
