you have to make it 6881-6999 for some reason, I was having a problem with BT's and I did some searching and somone had posted 6999, I changed it to that and now I get 100+ KB/s where as before I could only get below 20 speeds. Try that, see if it works.GSRLessard14 wrote:I don't mean to whine, but I think i just opened the BT ports... 6881-6889 /fowarded them to my computer only... but this site says that they are still stealthed/need to be configured... and i'm only at 9 kib/s still...
also, make sure that you have the Protocl TCP and UDP boxes checked and click the enable box, also you have to fill in your IP address if you didnt already, if you dont know how to I can tell ya.

i think that its helping... i've opened up to 6910 and i'm goin at 33 kib/s now... they're all checked as TCP though.. the BT site says they don't use UDP. i dunno about the IP address still, i don't think i have access to where you can fiddle with that?jsgksu wrote:you have to make it 6881-6999 for some reason, I was having a problem with BT's and I did some searching and somone had posted 6999, I changed it to that and now I get 100+ KB/s where as before I could only get below 20 speeds. im sick of torrents. i cant get ay good speeds and i dont think my ISP is gonna bend over backwards for me so that I can download 3 Gb a day more than I already do. Plus, they accidentally turned on our service even though our last year's contract was up, and i've been getting free broadband for about 6 months now. oops
