anybody got any tips for voice training to sing with a high, powerful voice, for example in grey street? i would appreciate any tips. thank ya

no it takes practice, go to a voice teacher. not everyone can have dave's voice, so find your own.

Half lemon juice half water. Sour, but it works. Also, I sometimes can't hit the last Grey Street note without doing falsettos. What does help is scream it, get really raunchy, it helps. It doesn't sound as good, but it works, it helps break that barrier. Drink a lot of water afterwards, to help your vocal chords. I do the same after singing Halloween, since I do it metal style, lol.

Drinking some cranberry apple juice before hand usually helps me before i plau and sing, water, sometimes tea. For practice, sing higher than your range and see what notes you can hit, if you cant quite get to those upper ones, yelling helps but you might have to drop it down an octave. Probably the best advice is not to try and sing just like he does, put your own feel to it, just have fun

cranberry apple kills me...it makes so much phlem cause it's so high in sugar.....

ya ive herd people talk about the lemon and water drink, im gonna hafta try it......thanks to everyone though, i appreciate it alot
