I watched that whole episode when it was aired two years ago. except for dave, the entire episode blew major ass.

Why did Dave even bring his guitar up there? You can't hear him play and he doesn't even play it much.

When I saw this performance I wasn't impressed. In the breakdown Dave's voice was soooooo strained and I thought it sounded terrible. I wasn't to fond of Dave's seizure like motions at the end when he does the ah ah ah part either. I agree that it is a great song and I love it, just not a fan of that performance.

On a side note: Roddick was a total douche bag on that episode

Its gotta be tough for him since he has to truncate the song and limit the cool shit he normally does live. Go to dmbvideos.com and watch a scaled down and frankly subpar performance of DDTW on Letterman and you'll see what I mean.
