A drum tab might qualify as the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of. If you're here, you probably play guitar and if you play guitar, you realize that tablature was developed for fretted instruments. This means guitar, bass, mandolin, lute etc. Not drums. Tabs use fret numbers to show hand placement. There must be a fret to have a fret number, as such, tabs for anything but fretted instruments inheriently cannot exist. Looking at that drum "tab" has opened up even more disgust from me. Percussion music is easier to read than that shit. It is damn near the same thing, being that drums are nontonal, the Percussion clef's lines correspond to what piece of the kit to play on. And it gives (watch out for this one!) note lengths. What a concept. If the drummer needs a "tab", that means he needs to learn how to play first, sheet music is not hard to read, ESPECIALLY if it is in the Percussion clef. Done.
