Live at luther music books

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Live at luther music books

Post by DSeibel »

I got the live at luther boks for Christmas....and I am finding them really hard to follow. They seem very off from the tabs on this website. Does anone else agree? Any tips?

Thats because they are not the same, they are tabbed by ear, whereas kanter's tabs are tabbed exclusively from watching videos or concerts.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

Most tab books are spot on for the notes, but the finger placement is way off. I laugh sometimes looking at "offical" tab books.

Another thing I laugh at in tab books is lyrics sometimes. In the Crash book, before boyds solo, they actually have printed in there that the lyrics are "Take it mountain boy!"

Just because the tab is on this website doesn't mean you have to play it that way, this site is good but it isn't always ground truth. I find the L@LC books give some other ways to play songs. Plus they have alot of the Tim stuff.
