Best DMB song live

Post by somedevil »

What do you guys think the best live dave song is? I saw a dmb show at philips arena in atlanta, and i think it is a very close tie between crush and warehouse.

I can't pick just one, but here's a short list opf my favorite live songs.

Watchtower-amazing energy
Crush-The jamming at the end is great
Jimi Thing-Once again, the jamming is great
Last Stop-Great energy, and the lights are amazing
Pig-Love this song, always great live
Billies-Pure energy
Two Step-lots of energy and jammig
Typical-probably in my top 3 live songs, the middle jam is great and the whole song just flows nicely.

jimi thing & lie in our graves, when there's a good jam.
also, today i was blown away by leroii at the beginning of Seek Up @ the gorge 2002. i think that man can make anything great.
...and we're all thirsty
like drunks on Sunday
brooding like the blades of a fan on low speed
or a writer with only one good line.

I can't believe that we would lie in our graves,
dreaming of things we might have been.

36 minutes...one song...wow . lol. Did you see it live or download it? If you've got kazaa download #41 at Woodstock. Pretty good version, but it's cool because they have technical difficulties, proving they're only human (which i find hard to believe, yes, I know i'm insane.) Check out Gravedigger at Farm aid and you'll see dave miss a line, HOW COOL IS THAT!! 8)

the dreaming tree (not live, the album version)----the way the bass and the lyrics blend is amazing......the best live song would have to be Seek Up from Red Rocks....i mean you just cant beat the violin and the sax

#41 live in chicago. You can't top a Wooten solo right in there. Also Watchtower is amazing. But my fav would probably be halloween.
