Dave's Baritone sound

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Dave's Baritone sound

Post by gpants12188 »

I currently have a Clapton Stratocaster, and I was wondering if there was a type of pedal that you could buy to make a regular guitar sound like a baritone. One of my customers would like to know. I currently have the Clapton Crossroad's Pedal. That gets close with some distortion and reverb put in. But I would like to get as close to the real sound as possible.

Thanks

it was a nice option, but ive tried doing that, either the strings snap or you dont get that true baritone sound. It has like a deeper but more upbeat kind of pickup in it and i cant find it on any sites. Ill try the whammy pedal though.

Thanks

will that cause your guitar to amplify as baritone, or will it just give you the sound?

First of all, just as many strings are broken while tuning down.

Second of all, what the hell would a wammy pedal do?

It either can raise or lower the pitch one octave.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

I'd trust an octave pedal before a whammy!
