dave even said that himself, in the interview in the sheet music of live @luther college guitar book, "the chet cuts through band"

I love the chet with the band, but I love the Taylor just Dave and Tim.

Dave doesn't play his Taylors with Tim, unless I think he played one for Stay or Leave in 03. (There may be an exception I don't know about) Normally he plays his Martin DM3MD, before that he had his Hd-28v, and before that (L@LC) he had a Lakewood M-30. That is, if I have my facts straight.

Good idea, but I don't think they would blend too well together. BF&tFT's are just too fast.

you do have your stuff straight. but i believe he uses a 714 on stay or leave.

i think i remember dave using a taylor at the dave and friends show i went to in philly when dave and tim did their set but i was pretty fucked up so dont take my word on it, damn that was an awsome show

yea after looking at the photos on the dmband website he was using a martin with tim and i think for the whole show

yeah the 714 is for raised b stuff, and i'm pretty sure he used the martin for most of the D+T tour

I've always thought Dave was playing a Taylor with Tim on Storytellers, but I haven't watched it in a while now. :oops:
