You have to be picky when you're trading. Most traders specifically say that if you send them generic media (and Imation is at the forefront of this), they won't burn your DVD's. They coaster, and they've been known to hurt burners from time to time.

i didnt say this is what i send for b&ps... only for personal use to archive old stuff... i keep a stack of "good disks" on the side.

Great DVD Deals for the week of October 11th:

At Best Buy, they have 100-packs of TDK DVD disks (both +R and -R) for $59.99. Thats a great deal ($0.60 per disk).

They also have 25-packs of Fuji DVD -R disks for $12.99 ($0.52 per disk)....but you have to send in for a $2 rebate. If you don't send in the rebate it works out to the same cost per disk as the TDK deal above.

Staples is currently having a "Special Buy"-- that means in -store only.

TDK spindles of 25 DVD's (4x although the one pack of 8X came up too) for $9.99. They say this sale will go thru 11/27, but I don't necessarily trust the genius who tried to sell CD's and tell me they were the same thing. ("but ma'am, I'm an assistant manager in Business Machines. I know my business.")

Also, this week at BestBuy-- Fuji spindle of 50 for $19.99 and TDK 25's for $9.99.

Hey filmdude, I saw this post on the forum about DVD burning. Anyway, I'm having some trouble burning DVD's from avi's and MPEG's. Any software you can recommend to convert to vob and ifos? I have a DVD+ drive and I'm using Nero, but when I burn the DVD, and play it in my DVD player, the audio is waayyyyy off.

Thanks

That's funny.
Sorry I'm not adding any constructive help. I just remembered that post filmdude made. His information is not accurate at all on that topic.
