to be honest the nicest taylor ive played was a 410ce

i hate the big baby, it sounds horrible, but the 100 and 200 series which range around 800$ are amazing. Its def worth the price, cuz nothing in the room compares. But (^o^) again, thats just my opinion.

I own a Taylor 314ce ltd. koa and a Martin D-15, it is my opinion that the less expensive Martin sounds better than the Taylor....

maybe i'm wrong, and this has nothing to do with my martin thread, but weren't you gonna buy a big baby taylor over the summer?
yes, before i started doing research, and before i realised most of the reason i wanted it was the headstock... so for about 2 weeks, it was the guitar i wanted... its just i mean 110's and 314's sound really good, its just if im buying a taylor, i want it to be a 714ce, or 914ce... thats just me, to me lower end martins are a little better than lower end taylors, like the D-15, its a really really good guitar, and itll only set ya back about $700, all mahogony, sounds great.

The 100 and 200 series guitars are overpriced shit. Guitars in that price range in general are shitty. There aren't many good in between guitars.

The rule: If you're not going to spend at least $1200, there's no reason to spend over $400, 500 max.

Hey kettle!
It's not that he criticized him about the opinion, he flat out told him his opinion was wrong.

I disagree...I've played a few beautiful 214's, and I think they are much better then the 110's I believe, and are a good 'filler' for those who like the 314 but don't want the ES crap
