I'm gonna second, third, and forth the belief that your brother should try to sing like dave less. Other than that it's good stuff.

heres what i DO like about your band:
good saxaphone player
great bassist

heres what i DONT like about your band:
whenever i see you post about it its like you preach that your better then everybody and you get all behind them and try to act like your god...just cool off. to say your drummer is the closet drummer in skill to carter is rediculous. Great drummer, yes, but come on think of all the amazing pros out there that could dupe carter perfectly.

modesty says a lot about a band...not to mention if you want the platinum album your shooting for...your gonna need to do some original songs lol.

Ok, I do always get hot and say my brother is as good as carter, but it is thruth that there is always somebody better. If there weren't then we wouldn't have people that we study to get better ourselves. I NEVER said we were Gods. Far From it. But we do write our own music. However, we do not have anything recorded. We're using the holidays to try and get something down. Anyhow, I'm beat, I gotta crash. We'll talk more about it later.

Nice vid. You're all very talented for sure.

I personally never questioned your brothers talent. To me it seemed like you were trying to excuse his sub-par vocals because he's so good at the drums.
A band interested in making a platinum album should be able to approach the situation from a more logical and professional perspective.

Definatley talented, and the bassist is very solid. the drummer needs to lay off the dave voice though, it just doesn't work well with him. it sounds like he's really reaching too low and it just...blah. everythings good. but drop the ego man..

I thought you guys sounded awesome. Do you guys tour or play just mostly in the areas you live?

tour

We've toured all over the Southeast. Our website design is still new so I am adding stuff every day. It's http://www.dmbtributeband.com I'll probably put up the cities today, although we never advertised well in the past. Most places that we have a name are all in NC, because it's local and more people can afford to hire us. Anyhow you can sign up for our mailing list at the site. It has upcoming shows on it, and other info about the band.

the drumming is really good, so is the rest of the band. as dumb as I feel to say this though, I cant see a band with a drummer for a lead singer making it huge, its just weird, people arent used to it, they wanna see the singer up front. As far as just listening to the music though, the drums, piano, sax, violin all sound amazing, the guitar sounds spot on and Im not great at picking out bass parts but theres nothing that sounds wrong at all. good job, let me know if you come to Kent (I get to sit in for a song too, j/k)

wow, I posted that halfway through #41 (I skipped DDTW cuz people said 41 was better) no discredit to you as a rhythm guitar player, but that solo was fucking sweet, you should be the Timmy of the group and find someone that plays rhythm really good and can sing dave really good. Then youd pretty much have the whole tribute band idea down. Just an idea cuz I really liked that solo and people would probably take better to a lead singer/rhythm guitarist, since thats how DMB (andmost bands) are

that sounded great all the way around i agree on what jsgksu to get a really good rythme guitarist who can sing dave. the guitar solo was sweet and the "timmy of the band" thing i also agree with jsgksu long with. the bass kidna felt week in ddtw somewhat i think mainly because there was a big part stefan really goes on that that wasnt there. but the bass on #41 was great. about the drums from that i can say my brother i about as good my brother can pretty much play any thing carter has come out with so far. very good man like to hear more.
