I know the number of you guys is slowly decreasing, but what do the few proud jazz players out there use as far as guitars go?

its not much of a jazz guitar, but i have a vintage telecaster that can get some good bass tones to it for improv. a friend of mine has a Gisbon ES series through a mesa boggie tube amp that sounds really freakin' awesome...

I don't have one, but the Gibson ES series are the oppitamy (SP?) of jazz guitars to me...a 175 or a 335 is what I almost went with way back when...

i don't know about that specific guitar, but if its an archtop, it should be good. they make really good jazz guitars (and unfortunately, country guitars :x )
