I fingerpick the whole song, but kind of strum with my fingers through the chorus chords: G, D, Bm, A, G, D, A/C#

thats what it is..listen to daves picking pattern carefully...it took me a while..but gotta have faith

basically....you strum the G chord, then pick it out.

then you pick the highest and lowest note of the next chord (D) and then a quick strum and more picking...and then the same for the rest of the chords. or you could even strum those chords very lightly. whatever you feel is right.

when i was learning it the tab really helped me to get the finger picking pattern down it looks complicated but just take some time and read over it, then just listened to dave play it and hit the notes like him

if you can fingerpick the verse the chorus shouldnt be hard, have you tried just playing along with an acoustic version
