view recognition problem

my homepage is the view your posts page from this site. when i click on the arrow jaunt next to the name of the person with the most recent post it often doesnt recognize that i have viewed the topic. (the note thing is still orange) WHY? its annoying my ocd

Do you mean you press "Back" and it's still orange? Your browser caches the page, so you will need to refresh the page for your browser to see that you have now read it.

no, like i respond and return to the index and click "view my posts" again and its still orange, even if i refresh.

its not a major problem, so dont loose sleep over it, i just thought id point it out

Ahhh. It's orange because you responded

You had viewed the thread when the last post was not you, but you didn't view the thread after your post, so it's still unread.

okay, a question on a similar subject, how come if i open the view posts page twice simultaneously it marks all of the topics as read?

like if i accidentally click firefox twice (the view post is my homepage) the 2nd time they're all read and if i refresh in the 1st they're all read there too.
