Would you buy a guitar online?

Unread post by Tranman66 » Wed Dec 01, 2004 10:12 pm

I dunno. I never think this is a good idea. I mean even if you know the model and stuff. It's important to check the construction and sound before you buy something as worthy as a guitar. Do you guys recommend buying online? Where can i check out Alvarez without going online?

If I bought offline, I'd probably either A) buy from someone who is reliable, or B) go to a store and then buy that model. Although no two guitars are exactly the same.

davesguitar.com

I got my les paul from them, and they are great. They have 2 stores, but you can order from them as well for only shipping charge. They are in wisconsin, like mwa.

I bought a guitar without playing it first. I was a little worried it might be a dud, but I love it. I wouldn't do it again though, too much risk.

I got a guitar recently. It would have been cheaper to buy it online but I wanted to buy a guitar that I've actually played before, so I bought it instore. Wouldn't get an acoustic online.
